Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzales-Collins works as an Mexican-American sportscaster. She currently works as a sportscaster for ESPN in the role of an anchor of SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked at ESPN in the year 2016. The daughter of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual since she was nine years old a useful skill that helped her secure her first position as a production assistant for Univision in Miami that gave her the opportunity to work alongside producers of national programs including Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. In 2009, the CBS channel located in St. Petersburg hired her following this to become reporters for sports. She relocated from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on one of the Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. The reporter covered stories about illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking on the Texas as well as the Mexico borders, she was employed as a reporter for news on both the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Her birth date was November 22nd, 1985 on the 22nd of November in Mexico City. She is older than her sister. The family moved from Mexico to Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. In 1992, her parents separated then shortly thereafter in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who died in 2006 of kidney cancer. She stayed there in Canton Ohio with her older sister throughout the summer where she had been offered a job. Antonietta, a high-school senior who had a vision of how she wanted her career to be like, visited Mount Union University to see whether the university was suitable for her. The result was that she enjoyed the university as well as the fact that it offered the program she desired. After completing her studies, she was accepted into the University for a master's degree in media studies. They developed a lasting relationship with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor at WRMU 91.1 FM, of which she was a member. His passion for journalism and the confidence she had in herself encouraged her. In turn, she attempted to live up to his expectations and never disappoint him.
