Antonietta Toni Gonzales-Collins works as an Mexican-American sportscaster. She currently works as a sportscaster for ESPN in the role of an anchor of SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. In 1992, her parents separated then shortly thereafter in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who died in 2006 of kidney cancer. She stayed there in Canton Ohio with her older sister throughout the summer where she had been offered a job. Antonietta, a high-school senior who had a vision of how she wanted her career to be like, visited Mount Union University to see whether the university was suitable for her. The result was that she enjoyed the university as well as the fact that it offered the program she desired. After completing her studies, she was accepted into the University for a master's degree in media studies. They developed a lasting relationship with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor at WRMU 91.1 FM, of which she was a member. His passion for journalism and the confidence she had in herself encouraged her. In turn, she attempted to live up to his expectations and never disappoint him.
